Scenic Spot 3. Mt.Acha & Goguryeo Blacksmith Village

Mt. Acha
Mt. Acha, stretching from Seoul to Guri, is a low hill about 300m above sea level.

It has a moderate terrain that is good for casual hiking.
It has about 20 bastions that seem to be from the Age of Three Empires.
In result of excavation, it was found to be a military relic of Goguryeo and designated as a national cultural heritage in 2004.

Blacksmith Village
Goguryeo Blacksmith Village, situated at the foot of Achasan Mountain,

was built based on blacksmiths’ workshops found in the forts in Achasan Mountain.
The place consists of a heritage exhibition hall and an outdoor exhibition hall displaying iron relics from Goguryeo.
